Local a Capella group Conceol performed in the 2014 production ‘Scottish Power’ at the Devonport Convention Centre on Saturday January 18th.
‘Scottish Power’ (presented by Launceston’s St Andrew’s Caledonian Pipe Band) is a regular fundraiser event to enable the pipe band to perform internationally. Conceol were a much appreciated addition to this year’s cast, performing Celtic pieces in Irish and English for both matinee and evening concerts.
Conceol were proud to be performing alongside the magnificent pipe band, house band ‘Schmeltic’ and the Scottish Power Dance Troupe of Irish and Scottish dancers.
